Good questions, straight answers
Money, timing and what's actually guaranteed
How far ahead do we need to book a job that isn't urgent?
A few days is usually plenty for routine work, and telling us your dates are flexible tends to open up more arrival windows than locking yourself into a single preferred morning.
What actually happens if the same fault turns up again months later?
Call the same number and treat it like any other booking, our Lifetime Labour Warranty means a genuine fault traced to our own work gets corrected properly without a fresh invoice landing.
How do we settle the bill once a job's finished?
Card, cash or a payment plan all work fine, and because the price was agreed in writing before anyone started, paying on the day just confirms the price you already signed off.
Does the warranty cover parts as well as the labour?
Our own labour carries the lifetime guarantee, while supplied parts sit under whatever the manufacturer offers separately, and we'll always spell out which is which rather than blur the two together.

What tends to come up mid-job
If the plumber finds something extra mid-job, does the price just grow on the day?
No, the original job keeps going, you get told plainly what's been found, and a separate fixed price covers that extra work, so nothing gets added to your bill without your say-so.
Our water bill jumped and we can't see why. Could a hidden leak be the cause?
It's worth chasing properly, a leak buried under a slab or inside a cavity wall can run for weeks unseen, and finding it accurately beats opening up a wall on a guess.
Does replacing a hot water system with an equivalent model need council approval?
Not usually, a like-for-like swap already sits within the plumbing code, though changing the system type or its position can trigger extra requirements, and we'll flag that before any quote is written.
What's worth doing before the plumber actually arrives?
Clearing a path to whatever's misbehaving helps most, and knowing roughly where your water meter sits is useful too, though a plain description over the phone is enough to get started.
Good questions, straight answers
Tenants, landlords and rented properties
We rent the property out rather than live in it. Can we still deal with you directly as the owner?
Absolutely, plenty of landlords prefer to handle quotes and approvals themselves, and we're just as comfortable running everything through a property manager if that suits your arrangement better.
Do tenants need our permission before they can call you out?
That's between you and your tenant, we're happy to work either way, quoting and confirming directly with whoever's authorised to approve the job, tenant or landlord, once that's made clear upfront.
Good questions, straight answers
What locals around Newport tend to ask
Does a property near Newport Beach or Bungan Head get treated any differently to one further back toward Pittwater?
Not on price or process, though the exposure differs, salt-laden air off the surf side wears fittings faster than a block sitting back toward the calmer Pittwater frontage near the yacht clubs.
The Royal Motor Yacht Club and Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club both sit right on Pittwater. Do you handle marina or club plumbing too?
Our focus is homes and small commercial jobs rather than large marina contracts, though if a nearby club or facility ever needs a quote, that's a conversation we're genuinely happy to have.
Do the shops along Newport Village on Barrenjoey Road ever need backflow testing?
Any property there fitted with a testable backflow device needs it checked yearly under Sydney Water rules, and we combine the test, the tag and the paperwork into a single visit.
Salt Pan Cove and the reserve near Bungan Castle sit close to some older homes. Does that closeness change anything about plumbing there?
It's a reasonable marker, properties within a street or two of that foreshore generally face a higher water table and harder salt corrosion than blocks set further back from Pittwater.
